The service

RootsPrint is a free, browser-based tool for creating and exporting family trees. The Service runs entirely in your browser; we do not host your data. It is provided at no cost and without any account.

Your content and responsibility

You are solely responsible for the information you enter and for keeping your own backups (via the export feature). Because your data is stored locally, we cannot recover trees that are lost due to clearing browser storage, switching devices, or browser issues. You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and to respect the privacy of living individuals whose details you record.

Intellectual property

The Service's software, design, and branding are the property of their respective owners. The family tree content you create remains yours.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any data will be preserved.
